| The Metcalfe Society is a registered charity run
by a few dedicated volunteers in their spare time. The officers of The Society
endeavour to provide a quality service to members and non-members to the best
of their ability. Current technology allows us all to communicate very easily
on a global level via e-mail .... when it works! Reasons for failure can be
human error or technology failure. Therefore, if you do not receive an
acknowledgement of receipt or a response to your e-mail within 1 week of
sending, please assume that it has not reached its destination. Either check
