| 14 Nov 2003 | Eduard de Boer | I am looking for my biological father Edwine Metcalfe
(Brasil). He worked in the fifties for an international airline at Schiphol
Airport. He met my biological mother (Annie Muthert) in 1955 and from this
relation I was born the 4/th December 1956. He lived in the Beethovenstraat and
had a high function in his branch. As far as I know he should be 75/80 now if
he is still alive. As I have no further family I so much like to trace a little
bit from myself and hope someone can tell me about the Metcalfe clan in South
America or any connection. So Edwine Metcalfe born 1925/1930 worked in Holland
1950/1960 (what I know Brazilian) well educated, something with aviation.
Please any link I am grateful. Yours sincerely Eduard de Boer (adopted name) - Martine Metcalfe real and given name. |

| 24 Jul 2003 | Gina Atkinson | I have been trying to find out information on my Great Grandmother Jane Gertrude Metcalfe born about 1883/84. Her father was John and his occupation on her wedding certificate was cab driver. I can't find her on the 1891 or 1901 census though I have downloaded all the Jane's born 1882 to 1885 because I don't know her place of birth. I also have all the pages from the BMD to cover these years. It has been possible to eliminate a lot off the census list if they did not tie in with a father John. She married Harry Pinkney in 1903 - he died 11 days after the wedding. She married a George Hullah and died in 1831 aged 48. If you have a Family tree that contains the above names I would love to hear from you. |
