Due to illness, Mr Clifford Metcalfe [M978] has had to retire as our agent responsible for membership applications from USA residents who are unable to send payment direct to the UK in £ Sterling. We thank Clifford for all his work for The Society and wish him a speedy recovery.

If you have submitted a membership application to the Metcalfe Society over the last few months but have not yet had a response, may we ask you to send an e-mail to the treasurer (treasurer@metcalfe.org.uk). Thank you for your patience during this transition period.

As a temporary measure our Canadian agent, Miss Susan Harper (M266), took over the position until a more permanent arrangement could be made. The Society's heartfelt thanks go to Susan for stepping into the breach at such short notice.

The Metcalfe Society is now delighted to announce the new USA agent - Kevin Metcalf (M1285) of Illinois - and would like to wish him the very best in his new role. Kevin is now able to receive queries and requests for further information from potential new members and also receive applications to join The Society.
